A story like this is hard to cover because your subject is an inanimate object that doesn't move. You then have to be creative in how you film it because it can't move. I think this is where your project struggled. All of your b-roll clips are the same wide or medium shots of various parts of the heiau. Was there any opportunity to film the hui working on the heiau? That could have really added to your story. I like that you were able to use some stills in the story but you need to learn how to move them around better. The shot of the group pans up to the top of the photo and the group disappears. I like the interviews with the tourists. I would have liked to see the signs and maybe the tikis more. Be more creative with your b-roll. Notice that there are no closeups of any kind. Maybe a tight shot of the tiki would have been good. You need to give me a variety of shots.
Audio is pretty good and I expected some wind noise. You do have to do a better job at leveling out your audio clips so that they are all about the same. Some clips are softer than others and I think at least one VO was noticeably louder.
The story also needs more editing. It's too long and drags on. I think if you can go back and really listen to what's being said, there are some sound bites that say the same thing and some can be removed. Overall a good effort that needs a little more work. 2.8 points.
